The Euro is in a tail spin at the moment. People are jumping back into the US Dollar, strengthening the US Dollar. Historically, a strong Dollar meant weaker gold prices. However, factors such as inflation, unemployment rate, war on terrorism, and the sub prime mortgage crisis still make gold a secure investment, especially if the Euro comes back and the Dollar falls again.
