The Engelhard imprint is an assurance of quality and purity, which guarantees an investor precise purity and quality in a platinum bullion bar. Platinum is the rarest of all precious metals, more than 20 times more scarce than gold. Only 90 tons of platinum reaches the market each year. This compares with over 1,900 tons of gold and 10,000 tons of silver.

Each Engelhard platinum bullion bar carries its own unique serial number, so the owner of that bar can be confident of ready liquidity worldwide.

The obverse features an eagle with the Engelhard logo imprinted below along with, "999.5", "Fine", "Platinum", and "1 Troy Ounce". At the bottom is a unique serial number for each bar. The reverse features the Engelhard logo diagonally across the bar.
